The Dock Life Challenge is all about showcasing real-life experiences with EZ Dock products. To help guide your submission, here are some creative concepts, content ideas, and important guidelines to keep in mind.

Creative Concepts & Video Ideas To Get You Started:

  1. Lifestyle on the Dock:
    • Capture the fun and relaxation of spending time on your EZ Dock.
    • Feature activities like fishing, swimming, boating, or simply enjoying a sunset.
    • Highlight how your dock enhances your outdoor adventures.
  2. Action Shots:
    • Show people using their docks actively—launching a kayak, tying up a boat, or jumping into the water.
    • Capture unique perspectives, such as drone shots, GoPro footage, or slow-motion action clips.
  3. Family & Community Moments:
    • Feature family gatherings, friends hanging out, or kids enjoying the dock.
    • Showcase how EZ Dock is a part of creating special memories.
  4. Unique Dock Setups & Customizations:
    • Show off how you’ve customized your EZ Dock setup.

To ensure all submissions align with EZ Dock’s brand and community values, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Safety First:
    1. Make sure all activities shown in your content follow proper safety measures.
    2. Always wear life jackets when engaging in water activities that require them.
    3. Ensure children are supervised at all times.
  2. Family-Friendly Content:
    1. Submissions must be appropriate for all audiences.
    2. No profanity, nudity, dangerous stunts, or content that promotes unsafe behavior.
  3. Respect the environment:
    1. Keep your dock and surroundings clean—no littering or harming nature.
    2. Show how EZ Dock helps you enjoy and preserve the beauty of the outdoors.
  4. Original Content Only
    1. Content must be created by you and not pulled from third-party sources.
    2. Submissions must not include copyrighted music, logos, or watermarks.

Any submissions that violate these guidelines will be eliminated from contention.

  • Submissions Open: The first day of each month
  • Deadline: Entries close on the last day of the month.
  • Voting Begins: The first week of the following month and runs for seven days.
  • How to Vote: Likes, comments, and shares on Instagram and TikTok count towards the public vote (50%).
  • Judging Process: An EZ Dock panel evaluates top-voted entries based on quality, creativity, and brand alignment (50%)
  • Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced by the 15th of each month on our website and social media.

  1. Sponsor – The “Dock Life Challenge” (“Contest”) is sponsored by EZ Dock (“Sponsor”). This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or TikTok.​
  2. ELIGIBILITY – The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of EZ Dock, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to participate.​
  3. CONTEST PERIOD – The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Central Time on the first day of each month and ends at 11:59 PM Central Time on the last day of each month (“Contest Period”). Entries submitted after the deadline will be considered for the following month’s Contest.​
  4. HOW TO ENTER – To enter the Contest:
    • Sign Up: Visit contest page and complete the registration form.​
    • Create Content: Capture original photos or videos showcasing your EZ Dock experience. Content must adhere to the guidelines outlined in Section 5.​
    • Post on Social Media: Share your content on Instagram or TikTok, tagging @ez_dock and using the hashtag #DockLife.
  5. CONTENT GUIDELINES – All submissions must:
    • Be original, unpublished works created by the entrant.
    • Depict safe and appropriate use of EZ Dock products.​
    • Be family-friendly and suitable for all audiences
    • Not contain any copyrighted music, logos, or watermarks.​

Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will be disqualified

  1. PRIZES – Each month, the following prizes will be awarded:
    • Top Dock Moment: $250 EZ Dock gift card and an EZ Dock swag bundle.​
    • Post Commander: $125 EZ Dock gift card and an EZ Dock swag pack.​​
    • Post Master: $75 EZ Dock gift card and EZ Dock swag.​

Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.​

  1. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION – Winners will be selected within the first week following the end of each Contest Period based on:​
    • Top Dock Moment: 50% public engagement (likes, comments, shares) and 50% EZ Dock panel review (visual quality, creativity, brand alignment).​
    • Post Commander: Most unique, qualifying posts.​
    • Post Master: Second-most qualifying posts.​

Potential winners will be notified via direct message on the platform of entry and must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. Failure to respond within the specified time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.​

  1. RIGHTS GRANTED BY ENTRANTS – By entering this Contest, you grant EZ Dock a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your submission in whole or in part, on its social media pages, website, and in marketing materials, without further compensation.​
  2. GENERAL CONDITIONS – Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Contest if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.​
  3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, TikTok, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (iv) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries.
  4. DISPUTES – THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND TEXAS WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, the entrant agrees that any disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Texas having jurisdiction.​
